Porcelain Report ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your email address, display name, and profile photo, which you provide when you register or sign in (including via Google or Apple sign-in).
Location: with your permission, we use your device location to show nearby bathrooms on the map. Location is used to display results and is not stored unless you add a bathroom at a specific place.
Reviews and content: ratings, written comments, and photos you choose to submit about bathrooms, along with your display name and profile photo shown alongside them.
Usage data: anonymous analytics such as which features you use, to help us improve the app.
Payment information: when you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by our payment provider (Base44 Payments / Wix). We do not store your full card details — only the order and subscription status needed to manage your membership.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- display bathrooms, reviews, and community content;
- show your contributions and rank on the leaderboard;
- authenticate you and keep your account secure;
- process payments and manage your subscription tier;
- respond to support requests and reports; and
- improve and maintain the app.
3. Sharing your information
Reviews, comments, and photos you submit are public within the app and visible to other users alongside your display name. We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help operate the app (such as hosting, payments, and analytics), under agreements that protect your information, or when required by law.
4. Data retention
We keep your account and contributions for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your Profile, which permanently removes your account, reviews, and saved places. Some data may be retained in backups for a limited period or where required by law.
5. Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your personal data. Edit your display name or photo from your Profile, manage your saved places and reviews in the app, or delete your account entirely to remove your data. For any other request, contact us from within the app.
6. Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us so we can delete it.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes within the app or by other means. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
